    Using masonry bits is just fine, no need to remove the tungsten ends just re grind them to suitable angles…needs a decent grinder though

    Angle drill, huh? What is it good for?

    It’s a case of..”It’ll come in useful one day”….As mentioned earlier, good for getting in armward places etc…Ive had a Dewalt 240v one for years, and it has come in useful on many occasions.

    Bargain of the day!

    The discs are ok, only 50mm, 2” dia, good for small repairs etc.. one slight niggle is that they don’t have the grit sizes printed on them, and they come all crammed together in a little plastic bag… I made a 50mm handle, with Velcro glued on so it can be hand held…

    Make a 50mm handle that fits into the palm of your hand, and stick some Velcro on to take the discs….for small jobs…

    Basically you get what you pay for…a lot of the cheap coated bits are just a gimmick..it wears off fairly quickly leaving chinesium underneath…then they’re useless….Four facet split point bits cope with most things depending on the quality

    I use a wire brush fitted on the 6” bench grinder works really well. Using flat abrasives alone doesn’t remove rust from inside the small pits. depending on the severity of the rust, I use emery first to remove any heavy rust then the wire brush to get in all the nooks and crannies, excellent...
