    Drummond Round bed questions

I just checked, it seemed to work for me, all the way through to checkout. That was for a super-tensile, 25mm X 1m belt

    Myford lathes

+1 for checking out Lathes.co.uk for Myford info. What will you be using it for. I have a ML7. I think the ML10 will be an improvement on the ML7. It will be a great investment. My one has gone up by 60% in value in about a year, but the prices are getting a bit silly. You can get much more...

    Mesmerising

Yes it is and there is nothing so comforting as sitting in front of a lovely fire when there is a horizontal blizzard outside. Very primordial.

Fastcap magnetic micro square 45 degree or another square for tool setup

perhaps this ? or this Alternatively you could buy a 45 degree square or digital gauge and send to an UKAS accredited facility to have it calibrated and factor in the error. They may or not be able to do it. The Standard for Engineers squares BS 939 does not include 45 degree squares. I...

    Tool identification help!

Some interesting information about the company here. It could be from the AKD heritage collection tools. It looks exactly like my Baho adjustable spanner, so they might have some of the heritage collection made by Bahco. See here. They contradict themselves a bit. "" Still...

    Oregon chainsaw

I have one and it is really good, as long as you have a power supply near:). I have had it for several years and on another post I said it it started cutting in a curve, so recently I got a new chain, but when I took the old chain off and examined it, it looked fine. I put it back on and it cut...

They look really great, but it's what you think of them that matters. They really are two little Fokkers!!! As others have suggested, set them aside, go do something else for a while. When you return to them you will get it right.

    Ancient Stihl chainsaw

Have you tried taking the magneto out and cleaning everything up. Then reset the gap using a sheet of thin paper or polythene to get the gap as small as possible. Sometimes you can have crap stuck to the magnets on the flywheel which can affect the generation of the spark. It could be the angle...

Covid vaccine, if you haven't had it ...

So sorry to hear of your loss Phil. As a father of two kids of a similar age, the thought of anything like that happening is so utterly dreadful. My thoughts are with you and your family.
