You could possibly check the balance with the pulley still on the drill. Put something in the chuck and use another hand held drill to drive the shaft. It may show any out of balance. There are often sneaky grub screws on pulleys.

If a 3D printer has been properly designed and CE/UKCA approved, there should be no more concern about fire risk than any other piece of equipment. The testers, if they have done their job properly, should have identified any risk of overheating and looked for a single failure which might cause...

I still have a large water storage tank in the loft which supplies cold water for the shower and bath. All the cold taps are direct feed from the mains. Reading this has reminded me to give the tank a clean. It's amazing what rubbish collects in the storage tank.

that is often the result of trapped air in the water supply, especially after the water board has been working on the supply. We get that when they work on the chlorination process. The water is cloudy, clears from the bottom up and in our case can detect the smell of the chlorine.
