    Spraying

Guys, Appreciate the encouragement, but I have tried spraying before using cans, and lets just say the results were dire and its not for me, that combined with; - no usable workshop or garage space that could be empty overnight while drying - requirement to get - a 'good' finish means that I...

    Spraying

Thanks guys, but this is a case where I know my limitations. To get the quality of finish I'm looking for will take someone with the right hardware and experience. Tried calling a couple of car finishers and the concensus was that because it was wood their paints were wrong. On with the search !

Why are people so go forth and multiplyingly useless?

Well done, not many people want to 'do the right thing anymore' As for people no longer knowing where their food comes from - it amazes me that people seem to have forgotted that pigs = hamburgers, and cows = steak, and that someone has to dispatch the animal. We've had lots of TV programs in...

    Beech Bed Head Board WIP

OK - probably going to be shot down in flames for this, but thought I would ask anyway.... Isnt there going to be a lot of pressue on that scarf joint, and its the main force pivot point on the headboard, or is the expectation that the vertical slats will be all straight and support the two end...

Riots - Bring on the army

Interesting debate,,,my view... Do we need the army - maybe,,,,,do we need lethal force, only if the situation demands - what is certainly needed is a more 'robust' and 'direct' approach to stopping this, either through force or levels of manpower. think about this - police in the uk are...

    Dum Dum...

Interesting that the suspect was held in solitary for a week before being interrogated, softening him up maybe ? The authorities have also stated that they are trying everything possible to have him confirmed as being 'SANE' at the time of the attacks, so that he can be tried under Norwegian...

    Dum Dum...

Henning DuM-Dum is not a generic name for a bullet that has been tampered with. It derived from a bullet designed by the British Army in India, during the period of the mutiny, (1857 approx), at the 'Dum Dum' arsenal, and was a bullet with a flat head that was notched to promote fragmentation...
