I got one, had to change the switch internals, apart from that seems bullet proof and very very accurate. Little bit unstable on the undercarriage when sliding carriage and table extensions fitted but apart from that alls fine. Run mine on 13amp plug with no issues. Recommend to anyone.
I have an old 6" x ^2 post holding a porch, it weathered to a lovely silver and the cracks just added to the appeal. You can clean any marks with oxalic acid wash, I did this then gave a coat of Danish oil, came up a treat. But oak will crack....
I FOUND IT BY SEARCHING THE SWITCH PARTNUMBER (as printed on it) on Ebay, so I guess using the manufacturers code was more helpful than the machine part number.
If you are going to all that trouble to build a sound proof box, why not construct a weather proof box and locate outside the workshop and just feed the inlet to a port or gate in the wall, I have done similar with a 125 liter barrel outside the shop as a separator. Quick and simple solution to...
I use the cheap blue workshop paper rolls for everything from polishing, applying oil, clearing up and blowing my nose...... Cheap and effective, never has an issue with spoiling finishes or polishes either.
Well I went to our friendly tool repair shop in Norwich, the guy was very helpful although he did smile when I took the sander in? back in 48 hours with a new switch fitted and tested all for a tenner. brilliant service, I am now a happy camper again.....
thanks to everyone who took the time to...

How about a straight forward pyrography kit, then you can add whatever to where ever you wish. Or simple lazer engraved plaques which can be stuck on, or an old fashioned ink stamp and a coat of varnish.
I recently needed to buy a replacement switch contactor, I wont mention the make of the saw as that would be unfair on the distributor. I contacted the main dealer as I was struggling to find a local electrical factors who could supply what I needed. Said agent indeed had the part and it was...
