What flavour of wood, some like fruit woods are very difficult to dry without cracking or shakes etc. You could make a feature of the cracks with leather or wire "stitching" when finished

I would use wall hung oil rads or convector heaters easy to fit and use. Or maybe an infrared panel.

I think any really shiny tape may work but I had good results with the parcel tape

I have a 3m bifold in the workshop, apart from cleaning the channel out once in a while its fine. I would suggest getting a good quality bi fold as some of the cheaper ones are shocking.

Having read this thread i have just ordered the Numatic kit and a couple of extra adaptors, a little spendy however should make life much easier. Thanks for all the info.
