I waited 20 years untill I got my Scheppach TS4010 - what a revelation and time saver. I dont use it often but when I do it makes cutting a pleasure not a chore.

If you go for a first fix gun ensure it suits popular collated nails, mine (Axminster) is an odd ball size which limits me where I can get nails (Axminster only)

Hollowing rig?

I have got 4 x Bosch clones and they are on par with those supplied OEM, cannot remember the make off hand but have had no problems with them over the past 2 years and still going strong. There are good and bad clones

I have the Lyle JAMIESON hollowing rig and it is supurb two fingers hollowing to extreme depths, lazer thickness guide and great results, looks cumbersome but is quite the opposite - loads on Youtube by Lyle

Can someone supply me with a link to a plug "in line" nvr switch please for a router table so the router can be left "on" and NVR switch can be mounted on front of cabinet, with a plug and socket so I dont need to rewire the router - Google has not been my friend today!

The battery Husqvarna I use from time to time was the same price as an equivalent petrol model - I think at that price it may be a workshop ornament.

You may get some vibration on those tool rests - the tool rest stem on my VB36 is 40mm solid steel.

You are better off buying individual gouges to suit you requirements, always plenty of preloved on Fleabay

Hmmm your work holding needs addressing before it flies across the workshop, especially if taking large or heavy cuts with a BOWL gouge or hollowing tool. I always use a forstner bit to take out a good proportion, finish, then use a suitable support (tennis ball) on the taile stock which is used...
