I’ve received a good bonus from my day job and looking to upgrade my sanding kit for my tables ….two options so far are the 6050 or the 6030 150mm units…..has anyone any experience with them ?

I’ve used Oli Natura, but now exclusively use a tweaked version of mike’s magic mix’ …equal parts pure tung oil, white spirit and outdoor satin varnish. I apply around 5 or 6 coats …1st ones flooded on then wiped off after 10 mins ….the rest applied with a soft cloth ….going down to 2000 grit...

A small hot melt glue gun might help you achieve this Keith

For the level of resistance asked for and the high gloss finish (horrible tacky ‘footballers wives’ …USA reality show driven) a thick resin coat buffed to an inch of its life, sadly is the only way to go imho. Of course when you quote them for the 10’s of hrs required, reality may return
