    Ground screws for shed builders

The sono tubes used thick compressed cardboard) are designed to hold the bored or dug hole open whilst the concrete sets …particularly on softer soils, The cardboard of course will degrade with the ground moisture and water from the concrete thus generating the concrete to ground high friction...

    Osmo a bit flat

Just ask if you need any tips etc. I’m working on a sequoia waterfall table soon so I’ll post up a thread on it with my surface treatment style.

    Osmo a bit flat

The acrylic is just to seal the surface and any that is not absorbed by the wood is removed by the 240 grit sanding after it has dried. My surface treatment of choice is the occasionally quoted on here ..Mikes Magic Mix 33% white spirit/pure tung oil/outdoor satin varnish - I add in around 5%...

    Osmo a bit flat

For a good gloss surface …without looking like the horrible USA highly reflective acrylic etc, I would sand to 240 grit then seal the surface with a thin layer of acrylic. Once dried sand again at 240 grit then apply layers of finish sanding at finer levels between each coat until you last...

For Sale Ftagh early glass panes.

Looks like at its oldest it would be Victorian ….Pilkingtons was founded in 1826 making crown glass (Late Georgian era) and that glass is far to good optically to be from that era. In a past life I spent 13 years in R&D in the glass industry…just to qualify my comments
