    Plastic sanding discs?

I’d give BND abrasives a call https://bndabrasives.co.uk/ They can get hold of most things and where they make their own belts can make custom sizes of most of the abrasives they sell. They’re an official partner of SIA so am confident they’d be able to sort for you

    Wanted Help Needed Please

They should get inserted and tightened with a torque driver to a specific torque setting- so imagine a lot have been over tightened in the past for fear of losing a bit of carbide at full speed. They also last so long they stay in the head for potentially years without being undone with them...

Council fined £20k for saw injury - Saw Stop would have prevented this

    Bandsaw tension

The tension of the blade should be similar between blades of different widths- but a wider blade will take more force to tension it. M42 blades also typically have a higher operating tension range to typical carbon blades (20-25kpsi vs 15-20 kpsi) but without a gauge you’ll struggle to tell.

    Starrett square - rule damage

Have you checked the screw has a clean flat mating surface? A bit of grit embedded in it etc would then indent the steel.

    Repair Café Project

Nothing in the offcuts big enough but reckon I can cut a chunk off this piece and still use it for it’s intended purpose. If I saw it to 9mm ish thick that’ll give you room to thickness down. If you’re still in need send me a message with your address and I’ll saw it off and pop in the post.
