    My new tropical aquarium setup.

That does make sense Bob. I guess I've been lucky just introducing them to the main tank as I go. Have i also been lucky using the same cleaning sponge for my coldwater goldfish tank and my tropical tank ? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

    My new tropical aquarium setup.

That's does look very promising! My first experience with bogwood wasn't great. I soaked it for weeks outside etc etc buy I still had issues with fish dying. I've been contemplating buying two rams for a tenner for...months. They really do bring me so much joy watching the tanks ! I do a daily...

    Anti-slip treatment for iPhone.

https://www.truecall.co.uk/product-p/cb1.htm This would stop your cold calls. It stopped 3-4 calls a day at work and reduced it to maybe 1 in 2 weeks. The one that gets through gets entered to the block list by just pressing number 9 on the handset whilst still speaking to them. I cant explain...

Do not try this at home!

When I was a kid I cut my knee cap with a handsaw. Dads car always use to be in the garage and somedays when I couldnt be bothered to push it out and up the hill I use to sit on the bonnet to work at the bench. I was in full swing cutting something in the engineering vice and after the cut had...

    My new tropical aquarium setup.

I added 4 small gourami's I've seen 1 after staring at the tank for ages but wonder if the others have been sucked up in the filter or worse still eating by other fish. I've never had much success with them but I've always bought them when they were much bigger. I'm hoping having them smaller...

Oak newel post to Oak handrail, which glue?

My glue experience in terms of strength durability is epoxy, titebond3, cascamite, ordinary white glue pva and then bodge it and scarper pu followed by the mitre mate offerings (excluding accoya) Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

    Lamello Bisco Vs. beech biscuits.....discuss

You'll put it to good use. One of my favourite tools I bought on a whim but gets used so much is a kreg pocket hole jig. I've managed for years without it but my god it makes life so much easier with repetitive results. If it broke today I'd buy another without hesitation ! I kind of envy how...

    Lamello Bisco Vs. beech biscuits.....discuss

I'm not sure I agree with that but that could be an error on my part. I use pu for edge jointing softwood and tulip wood if I'm in a hurry. I haven't needed to use accoya so am yet to try it on that. My experience with using it on oak wasn't great. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

    Lamello Bisco Vs. beech biscuits.....discuss

I think your best bet would be to buy a tool when you need it for a specific task. Worst case scenario you have to wait a few days for it to be delivered. Tools like that speed up the process on a production shop. 9 times out of ten there will be another way of achieving the same result with the...

    Lamello Bisco Vs. beech biscuits.....discuss

The biscuit only takes away a tiny amount of gluing surface area, around 4mmx80mm. Then it adds much much more buying adding the extra gluing depth into the wood, if that makes sense. Plastic or wood biscuit would both perform equally as well imho. I personally think I'd rely only a wood to wood...
