Fitting Rebate Block On Spindle Moulder Spacer Question

With a large gap and the rollers set up correctly it should be pretty difficult to get the wood to fall in the gap. The first rollers already pushing down on the wood so it shouldn't want to go in the gap. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    xmas presents for youngsters

Glad I could help; ) How much do you like the parents- this is very addictive and noisy ! I keep meaning to remake some oak ones. I could take some measurements if you're interested. I really must put it down now and stop making a racket !!! Lol Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    xmas presents for youngsters

Here's a few I saved from pinterest for some similar aged kids. The doggy money box is my favourite, the pencil holder my least favourite. Perhaps you could ask if they've got a dog at Google the silhouette for that breed. Nice thought sunnybob making them gifts ;) Sent from my SM-G900F using...

Do you have both a RAS and table saw?

I use both. The radial arm saw has sawn bent bowed timber that gets cut- it doesn't need to be accurate. The table saw is much more precise.....sometimes. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Maple Workbench

That's how I am as well. Once I've taken a few pictures it's no longer a precious project and more something to be handled and used. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Lathe and dust.

Now that does sound exciting. I've got a humongous extractor and could never figure out why it was still not catching most of it- besides when sanding. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

What timber and treatment would you use for a garden gate?

Out of curiosity how much would you charge to make some with the same design ? It might seem expensive but time you allow to buy the materials, then the labour to make them it soon adds up. If someone was looking for a weathered look it wouldn't be a 5 minute job trying to replicate it ;) Sent...

    Tenoner accuracy.

After you've pushed the wood through, once it's formed the tenon do you move it back over the cutters and then withdraw or withdraw it straight after the tenon is formed. I also found if i pull the wood back over the cutters it'll cut more off after the tenon has moved a little. Taking multiple...

    Oak and ply patio table

Sounds like you need to make a t & g ledge and brace door, then have some trestle type arrangement as the legs. Having the shorter lengths get supported by longer lengths next to it (stagger the joints) will make for a stronger table. You'll need a lot of bearers to catch the ends of the...

    Glue with long open time.

Biggest frustration I use to have with cascamite was mixing up enough glue. I always go way overboard now and end up mixing wayyyyy too much and throwing a lot out. Even though it has a long open time, having to mix more half way through gluing something up, really use to pile on the pressure...

    Glue with long open time.

It would be handy to have one does that straight from the pot. You can get various hardeners for cascamite that speed up the curing process, then there's the wood welder. Resin or cascamite for complicated glue ups with at least overnight clamping seems to work for most of my jobs. Sent from...

    Glue with long open time.

Cascamite is reasonably cheap in larger quantities. £50 + vat for 25 kilos. I've often thought it would be worth people group buying some, but them comes the hassle of weighing and posting smaller quantities to each of the group. Not sure what the postage would be on 5 kilos.....? Would it still...

Ear defenders with audio via bone conduction

Thanks for your quick reply Ewan. I like a variety of music but generally quite bassy. I don't think I'll rush out and get some just yet without doing a bit more research. Thanks again Coley Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
