    Mini track saw

Thanks for the responses here, I was hoping that the likes of Makita, dewalt, Metabo, or Bosch would have one; Im really not too keen on Clarke or the other budget brands although I guess some are not so bad for DIY which is all I need it for anyway. The Maffell gear looks good but crickey it...

    1/ 4" trimmer router question

Hi ive never used a router before and really could use one to cut some rebates for some garage shelves im making. My rebates need to be 20mm deep and about 25mm wide (rebating some scrap 4x2). I really dont want to buy a big 1/2" plunge router as it will likely not get used that much, so im...

Thanks for the response, I ended up with ITS diamond stones and a guide. Im not atall a pro when it comes to sharpening and should do it more often. Workshop cleaning.

Bought an "toolzone Ash Vac" the other day for my small workshop and well pleased with it so far. Its not to large (mines 15 litres), its bagless, easy to empty, and has good suction; ideal for sawdust, wood shavings and small offcuts from mitre saw ect.

Angle grinder stand to make radial arm (horizontal) cuts

Eventually ended up buying a 750w wet tile cutter and its cutting like a knife through butter, well pleased. Angle grinders can be too noisy and dusty, it was either buy a 9" angle grinder or the tile cutter.

Hi all, anyone know of a stand, or any other device, in which i can put my 4.5" angle grinder in to make a radial arm (horizontal) saw, or a device that can be used to make a table saw. Bench grinder reccomendation

Thanks, think ive tripped myself up on this, looks like only a select few grinders worldwide have inbuilt tool rests.

    Bench grinder reccomendation

Thanks for the responses, the only issues with making one or buying one is that I dont want to cut a hole in my bench to mount it on, there are ways round that I know. Long story short a grinder with one already attached would be ideal. Im mostly gonna be sharpening mower blades, spade bits...

    Bench grinder reccomendation

Thanks I will have a look, im not particularly looking for a high end grinder, just want one with a decent tool rest. Why they dont seem to sell em in Uk is beyond me. Looks like I will have to make some kind of attachment i guess.................

    Bench grinder reccomendation

Hi, hope this is in the correct forum. Im looking for a bench grinder that has a decent adjustable tool rest, like the one found here http://www.craftsman.com/craftsman-util ... ockType=G4 It looks as though UK bench grinders all have flimsy tool rests (like the one on my current grinder) that...
