Paint for use with food products

I have heard that putting half and onion in a newly painted room helps absorb/neutralize the smells paint gives off, might be a load of tosh but why not give it a go? the worst that can happen is onion flavored toast for a change.

UKW boot/table sale Sept 7th, this Sunday!

Well there does seem to be some interest already so to follow that up, as far as I'm concerned it seems that Sunday the 7th of September would be a good day to aim for, from 10am to about 2pm, unless that clashes with anything important that I've over looked! It would be really helpful...

Company Logo into wooden chopping boards and other items

I had a small branding iron made up with my "logo" see avatar to brand the spoons that I made, seemed a good idea at the time but very difficult to use mainly getting the temperature right, too cold would not show well and too hot and it would burn too deep and smudge ruining your good work...

    BLUM hinge question

I bit that would concern me is getting a good fixing into something only 12mm thick these hinges usually need screwing on as well as the 35mm hole. if you solve that problem and do go with this you could use a double sided mirror tape they are about 2mm thick (fix tape vertically).

Steve's workshop - Painting the outside walls

This is a very interesting thread and a fine workshop you are building with a good following but in that respect it's still way short of the SOD which I see is still going strong.

    Pro shop MDF edge sanding.

I don't know what you're looking for at 6k but I have a old Danckart edge linisher about £150 at auction, this is what I use for anything that I can get on it and it's fantastic for fitting doors etc fitted with g120 or 150 leaves a surface ready for the MDF sealer.
