GIMP is also good for the Mac and free. I use it to get rid of unwanted stuff from images, resize as needed but not that easy to get on with initially. Good on you for helping another scroller :) Jon.

Sporky is bang on the money. If you solder the flex you run the risk of screwing through the soldered flex or creating a hotspot over time. Flex is designed as such to displace and make the maximum surface contact within the connector in screwed connections. The type of crimps above are fine...
