I'm in a similar boat to the OP, and want a finish for my oak doors which will not darken or change the colour. I've googled Chestnut Oils but it just takes me to an Internal Error message. Do you know if Terry/Chestnut oils are still about and if so how I might get in contact with him? Cheers

HAHAHA - very good! I have not contacted them yet, but I think they will have others. It seems like they sell quite a few of them and in different sizes too... But you're right. I should check first whether they have more available now or will have more in future. I'll report back when...
