Good suggestion Tom, I have always made do with an old school compass and a pencil for scribing, I saw a thread on here recently about the Tooley Park Scriber and like the look of it so that is on the list.
Than you for all the suggestions so far, keep them coming. I had forgotten about the kinetic hammers, I do like them so may put one on the list, also the ulmia cutter, that is not something I have and would be very useful.
I have a birthday coming up and relatives have been asking my wife what to get me as a present. What do you get the man who has everything? I have all the tools I need but are there tools out there that I don’t necessarily need but would be nice to have. Any suggestions for tools costing under £100?
I have an old one of these NX-90V. Much better than the Mountfield/honda it replaced. it starts first time every time, even on its first outing in the spring. The mulch function is great.
I now have all my alarms and I will soon be fitting them. Do I wire in all the alarms, allow the backup battery to fully charge then get all of the head units together on a table to do the interlinking and house coding then refit to the base plates?
If I have two smoke alarms lets say in the attic, one has an RF transmitter and one does not then the would the RF one still send a message to my phone even if the non RF alarm triggered first?
Thank you again for the replies, all very useful info there, I will look more closely at getting wired in ones but if that is not possible then I suppose the disposable ones would be fine if they do last ten years.
Thank you for those replies, very helpful. When the batteries run out can you replace the battery or does the whole unit need changing? Also, what is the limit of the range for two units to link?
