I was thinking of getting this from Lee at A.L.T. Saws and Spares LTD, I did email him and he still has some in stock, the cost is just under £100 with VAT and postage, is this a straight swap over, I thought this would improve and not have to do any cutting on the machine, I was going to leave...

Hi Has anyone out there got the Record Power BS 350 Band saw, I want to get one but need to know the height of the Bandsaw without the wheel stand, I want to put it on a mobile base and have it fit under some wall units, so the height is important

Thanks, Brian I totally agree with you, but then again it might be sod's law, I am using cloth-backed Siat sandpaper which is good stuff, I will try the gaffa tape, that sounds like a good idea, and I will spend today trying to get a grip?
