Thanks,
That's what I was wondering about.
There's so many possibilities and we know so little.
If someone today was to put some money into developing an efficient steam car I bet it could be done.
But whose going to do it?
Is the money to be made from the car?
Or the fuel it uses for x years...
There's also the matter of a simplified drive train and no cooling system.
Except for the spent steam which only has to be cooled to just under boiling point and recycled.
I was wondering about the economy of heating water with petrol/gasoline to make steam, to drive the car v burning petrol/gasoline directly to drive the car.
I've been with EE now for around three years. £21pm for line and unlimited broadband. It was £19.50 three years ago.
Of course the line was there before I moved in.
There's been a few problems, but sorted promptly by courteous indigenous operatives.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm finding spam and nuisance calls declining.
If any site requires me to accept unnecessary cookies I just move on.
I also registered my phone number with the telephone preference service.
It all helps.
I think the only purpose for those is,
if there is anything in the shed that might suffer from frost. Those heaters just might keep frost at bay, can't see any use for them at other times.
I don't know if there is a name for this.
When I watch a tutorial video, I sit there thinking. Yes obviously, of course, anyone would know that.
But I wouldn't have put it together nearly as quickly without the video. :)
1973 was the first time I made something other than pointless small towel rails, boats(toy) etc.
It was a centre console for a 1963 Ford Anglia.
A proper one wasn't available even if I'd had the money for it.
Mine was the long gear stick model so I had to get inventive.
Some light plywood...
Replacement ink cartridges for my 6 yo printer are £29.
Brand new current model printer including cartridges £39.
Considering that my printer won't print, but is not showing empty cartridges, I think I'll play safe and get a new one.
