    mini pallet truck

Hi Jacob Is this worth looking at as two separate tasks with separate solutions? 1. The movement in/out of the van 2. Occasional movement (on the flat) around your workshop. It might be worth googling for machine movers general movers of things or piano movers to see whats there and for no 2...

    Semi-permanent workbench project....

Exactly what will the bench be used for? If its a gentle hobbies sort of bench you could get away with a dismantlable osb top/door/sheet of ply etc and cover furnishings as above, if its machine sanding/planing/cutting then the top/setup will need to be more substantial and I think you are on a...

    Coronet No1 v new lathe?

Of course take it and give him a bottle of something as a thank you. If the lathe will fit in the available space don't cut it down yet wait and see. If you cut it down make sure you have assembled it first (loosely on the floor) and consider/measure the length you want to cut it down to taking...

You can buy Oak Stripwood that is usually pretty dry and if its too thick you may be able to plane/thickness as you need, at least its dry. If the paint was removed pva or whatever rollered on to the post and the wood well clamped with a bit of board covering the new wood I would have thought it...

Parkside/Lidl Cordless Pole Saw any opinions please

Thanks Spectric I noticed that myself when I looked at the photo - will relocate it tomorrow or maybe its a chinesium circlip and might have bent/needs a replacement or worst case the groove on the shaft isn't deep enough. The saw mechanism gets clogged easily so it could simply have been eased...

Parkside/Lidl Cordless Pole Saw any opinions please

Maybe they can send a parts diagram On your photo the chain was silly loose on mine you have to push the bar away from the body until the chain is tightish then put the cover on and tighten it which then holds the chain tight and on the chain drive wheel. I assume yours does the same
