Disassembly and transporting of Diamond scrollsaw.

You also risk being stopped by police for carrying an unsafe load and potentially no insurance if you had a mishap on the road and the insurers decided you weren't using the bike in accordance with the policy. Look at the small print

    AJAX 1940s Pillar Drill Restoration

I like the pulley adjustment and as others have said put it on the other side of the belt. Appreciate its job done but if you ever need to rebuild consider a pulley the same as petrol lawnmowers use for belt tightening. The belt will sit better

    Outgrown my lathe?

I do like the rise block idea Just consider how much swing you need to increase as by the time youve cut the slots into the block so it fits well into the bed and head/tailstock youve lost an inch or so of potential height. Maybe have to laminate a couple of blocks to get this height without...

    Drill Driver Set?

I like Makita and have several items all do the job. If like the OP you are battery less then I would consider the Milwaukie option he suggests - people generally seem to rave about that make

Prepping a soot-stained wall prior to repainting

IMO Caveat emptor applies when buying anything -- re houses as long as you are correct when completing the vendors pre purchase information form thats that. re anything else you can ask any questions you may wish if you have a dishonest reply or the description is incorrect thats a different...

I'm pleased to say that yesterday I received a letter from Lidl requesting me to take the faulty meter and letter to Lidl and they will refund to my debit card. Did it and it worked so other than having to input the same information twice very good service from Lidl!

    Parkside/Lidl Multimeter PDM 300

Posting my thoughts about this £10 meter. Its about a year old, lived in a kitchen drawer with occasional use for torch battery/toys testing and suchlike. Ive just rediscovered some ancient mobile phones such as Ericsson GH355 as part of a tidy up (and trying to see if the batteries will hold a...

I came across one of these empty Master brand tool cabinets a few years ago very poor condition with some worm and as hard as I tried to make use of it eventually it went to firewood.

    Down sizing question.

Just a thought - if you want all of the doors to be the same then buy them all at the same time as patterns/designs can change even from a known and steady supplier - don't ask how I know! Same with door furniture/locks/hinges

    JT3 chuck removal wedge?

As the chuck/arbor has been off recently it might be worth a quick try with a large flat blade screwdriver as a wedge or maybe 2 one from each side a gentle tap or two and with luck it might pop off. edit just thought and depending on how much room between the chuck and machine body you might be...
