If you have a 3D printer then Thingiverse and Tinkercad have lots of MFT dog fittings files. Although not as robust as say Axminster many are a step up in useful design.

Deffo love my TS55 and have decided after several years as a Circular Saw on the Festool CS folding saw bench with sliding side table that I prefer the MFT and guide rail using Axminster rail clips and dogs.

    Signing work

Easiest if you have access to anyone with a 3D printer is to make a plate full on the printer. Cost in material is pennies and can be in copper, gold, silver or any other colour of your choice. All you need is the .STLfile to use and anyone with a 3D printer can do it. Set the disc in a recess...

    ****ing boiler system...

This low system pressure was the OP symptom however not everyone knows that a faulty diverter valve can allow pressure to drop slowly and not cause any evidence of a leak.

Circlips - what's the magic secret?

Check the prongs on your pliers. From my considerable experience it's likely that the points are slipping out due to being tapered. Sometimes a quick file of the points to remove any taper will do the trick. Rather than a point, try for parallel, or even better, a 'bell end'. The bell end...

    ****ing boiler system...

Sounds like a faulty/failing diverter valve inside the boiler system. Stop using local plumber for this unless he's Vaillant trained. Go direct to Vaillant for a list of trained engineers and you could be fixed within a few days. Diverter valves are prone to failing on many combi boilers...

Worcestershire newbie bowl turner needs a trainer for half a day

I was just about to suggest the same. Our 'Shed' has some excellent turners and runs various courses from beginners to Artisan levels...... Costs are minimal and everyone is supportive.

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

If you cared to read ALL of the postings you would see that I never voiced an opinion about the details in the OP. I simply questioned why no balance had been applied to the one sided opinion. My opinion is that those who are challenged resort to attacking anyone who questions their voracity...

No idea.... It's your rant not mine! Just making a fair point.

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

Unless you are able to compare ALL of the data it's pointless just pushing a graph that agrees with your opinion... There may be other's with different opinions who feel just as strongly as you. I don't have any opinions as I don't work in the NHS or not a position to know the full facts...

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

I don't have any I just find such unproven opinions quite irksome.

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

If facts are facts let's also compare the number of treatments between the two very different dates. Disregarding any political viewpoint..... Never let the facts get in the way of a rant Eh?

    Building control (or not)

DG 522 part 1 contains complete explanations. Gold standard mobile home pads had a blanket NO on any ground type. To be fair it is quite complicated. There have been many failures due to some hardcore containing crushed bricks made with power station ash included as a filler. That ash contains...

    Building control (or not)

It's been known for years that rubble is not suitable for use under home foundations. The brick material contains substances that react over time with cement causing weakening and foundation movement. The use of rubble under concrete bases built to mobile home 'Gold Shield' requirements now has...
