    Is this a quality brick?

This looks a little different than the ones we are used to seeing here. We call them concrete bricks.

They were called yankee drill drivers. I had one from Stanley for so many years, until electric reversible drills came to the scene.

Mild Steel Angle Iron and Brass Screws

That's true. I like your answer. As Phill05 wrote, in pipeline construction, the insulation kits have the same principle when you have a dissimilar materials bolted flanges connection.

Maybe this video can help you. The process to install a router plate in a RT is the same. https://www.google.com/search?q=installing+router+plate+in+table&oq=installing+router&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0i19i512l9.14409j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

I had the same problem when I bought my Triton TRA001 router. The machine works just fine but you never know when it will fail.

    Is it any wonder why.....

    UK alternative to pipe clamps?

Mines are 1/2" galvanized pipes. I used two Unistru profiles to store them. With a threaded coupling I can get virtualy, any lenght. A piece of foam or plywood at each end to avoid scratches in the job.

Screw storage... if you know what I mean.

For a long time, I have been using empty plastic jars to store screws, nails, staples, and bulk materials. The jars are from mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, ketchup, and the like. I write the dimension on a piece of paper to grab them as I need.

    Moving granite worktop

I moved a granite countertop 1800mmx600mm twice, from the laundry room to the garage and vice versa, using my wheeled workbench and a helper. I put several pieces of foam in between to avoid scratches on the countertop.
