Post a pic of something you have recycled

This is a recycled pair of skis and snowboard for my daughter and son-in-law. It was their old skis and snowboard that they wanted made into a bench. Finished it in the first lockdown.

    Thinking of new Disc Sander

Thanks James for your thoughts. I like the idea of the cast iron table, but as you say the Record is a less powerful motor. But will that matter too much?

Kitchen Knife Set - Recommendations Please?

I also have Robert Welch - three of them. The 12cm, 16cm and 25cm Signature knives. Their shape is ideal as the allow for both cutting and chopping. No problems with sharpening as use a steel every couple of uses, which is what I was taught at a knife skills class - fast and frequent!

    Car purchasing advice UK

Hi - just bought a Honda Jazz Hybrid 2020 reg. Very satisfied with this as it is returning approx 72/73mpg after recent very long journeys to Northumberland and Scotland - so good as far as I am concerned. Who else thinks this?

Well I really enjoyed Raducanu's tennis match today. They joy of her play was fabulous to watch. Oh to be as young as her again! I'm not a big footie fan as Scotland always fails to achieve its potential! So tennis is my fallback!

    One-*** efficacy questions

I agree with you on the need for local urgent responses. Local DPH's should be empowered to do so, without waiting for Hancock to give his yes. Do we have too much centralisation?

Ordering hand tools from EU sources

I got a very nice reply from Dieter a couple of months ago, when they said they had suspended sales until they had sorted out all the Brexit stuff. But even then they weren't sure it woudl be worthwhile to do so. Isn't this Brexit shoot lovely!
