Struggling to find self adhesive measure for bandsaw

I'd love a nice thick metric only one with numbers in the centre to replace the crap one on my table saw but for the life of me I haven't been able to find one.

    Self employment

Do you have a website showing some of your work with guide prices or "from" prices so that people that search for you have an idea that a 3m wide birch bookcase isn't going to be £500? That and a £50 ad in a local newsletter or something can work well. My local one is only distributed to 600...

Making a cupboard door in the traditional shaker style without a router table

If you look at Peters latest video you'll also see that his router table is nothing more than a router bolted to some mdf. It doesn't need to be anything more fancy than that do do a job. A trim router can do it, but as he also mentions, it'll lunch itself eventually as its just not designed for...

    Workshop flooring ideas?

Just glue the joints. It becomes one large unit and then you have the weight of all your stuff in it so it won't go anywhere. Also easy to get up should you ever need to, or chop into without worrying about fixings.

FedEx - the most spectacularly incompetent carrier of them all !

Herpes are the worst. It is known. Yesterday one turned up, walked through the gate and saw the very old front door with a sign on it saying "not the front door. turn left and find the blue front door and porch". Naturally your man turned right instead came around the back, OPENED OUR BACK DOOR...

    Wireless radiator valves.

Sounds similar to myself. 200 year old original house with several extensions. The house kind of sprawls 😂 I was convinced we'd need the boosters but it was fine. The furthest one is about 17 paces to get to (goggle maps reckons its about 11.5m in a straight line) from the unit. That's going...

    MR MDF

Practise like that is up there with getting managers specials on double glazing, just 50% off! How many people have been ripped off and paid full price with that chestnut.

    Wireless radiator valves.

I had to swap backplates over to the one in the box, but it is wired like for like so it was just a swap. Undo on one and do up again on the other. My old backplate followed the "standard" wiring pattern but had extra plastic (it's about 20cm wide) so the drayton unit couldn't just bolt on. So...

    Buying a AirCleaner thing/box

The record one is popular in part because its one of the only ones available. Just remember its supplementary to actual dust collection. The record iirc only goes down to 1 micron also.

    Wireless radiator valves.

So. My backplate was in fact a standard for the wiring, just not a standard for fitting to anyone elses programmers. I took a moment to double check and have for now lashed the Wiser box in. I'll have to rejig some things for permanence but didn't want to get too creative until I was happy it...

    MR MDF

Genuine shock with that to be honest.

    MR MDF

That's remarkably cheap for mrmdf. Even lower than I saw it before covit hit iirc which was about £35 for a sheet of 18mm Medite.

    Wireless radiator valves.

I'll document it. Mine isn't a standard backplate but it can't be too complicated. The valves have been here 3 days but the brains are with parcel force still! Also took the effort to get some clamp type thermocouples to help balance the system.

    Wireless radiator valves.

They did. If you own the V1, 2 or 3 kit you can pay £20 to get the new 3+ app and then I believe its free still, but basically they changed the model, customers went mental that previously free stuff was now sub based so they half backtracked to the point of only hitting new customers with the...

    Wireless radiator valves.

No forced sub no, but automated geofencing and automated window open shutoff used to be free but then got put behind a £2.99 subscription. Not essential but it wigged me out enough seeing that they just up and changed the model rather than adding a sub for new features that it put me off as I...

    Wireless radiator valves.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's just toolstation lowering the price to get search hits. The valves are pretty much exactly the same wherever you get them so it would be odd that they were that much of an outlier.

CCTV & Alarm or neither - Detached garage workshop security

I really just want a loud af horn to go off if the door is open without being disabled first. Like a car alarm.

    Workshop flooring ideas?

Just did 22mm chipboard onto of my insulation. Didn't bother applying any finish or paint. It's sawdust coloured half the time anyway.

CCTV & Alarm or neither - Detached garage workshop security

The idea of not installing an alarm incase it attracts crininals is nearly as odd that not wearing a seat belt because you might drive with less caution.

    Stanley 71

I feel I should use mine more given how expensive they are now 😂 I did enjoy using it when I made my bench to be fair.
