Yeah Tom its got the shroud that goes over it, I just took the pic while it was off. The hole thing might tear itself apart at full speed so I didn;t want bits blowing out everywhere 🤣 Just see if you can get them to make a slider instead of the left extension!

New Workshop - Roof Now On

Very nice! The tiredness wasn't a problem. The bruises on my backside from sitting on the roof battens for hours however were a different story. Shere as much as you can, it all helps others too. I lived vicariously for nearly a decade and I imagine there are many like me!

DBT85s Workshop - Moved in and now time to fit it out

The flip cart for the sanders is on its way though I've had to abandon hope for the integrated DX. I was getting ahead of myself. Plans drawn in Fusion, and then I used an extension called MapBoards to lay it out on a sheet of ply. I didn't entirely agree with where it placed things but it was...

So, do most of you use sketch up for your designs?

Ok Rodger. Sorry I seem to have said something out of place.

Oh, groups can go hang :ROFLMAO: Did you give Fusion a go at all?

New Workshop - Roof Now On

Ohh a new victim workshop build, great! Can I assume given the abundance of blocks that its going to be blocks all the way up? You'll love the new space. I've only really started actually using mine in the last 2 days and its SO NICE. I keep toddling on being able to find everything I need...

    Table saw tripping electric

The electrician can see if you can just upgrade to 20a or not, it may well require some new cable running. Do you have any idea what cable you have running into the workshop or how easy it would be to replace with something bigger? Only being on a 16A breaker in the first place seems very low.

Are you use its the thermal cutout that's triggering? I assume the motor housing is a tad warm if that's the case. The fan is typically under a shroud, I just had mine off to install the fan. I also have no idea what the motor actually came with. The one I removed was clearly not the original as...

So, do most of you use sketch up for your designs?

Roberto, start small and piece things together from there. Is there anything in particular that's making you think "It can't be this hard"? What kind of bad practise are we talking about? I fail to believe there are not decent videos of the subject on youtube.

I'm not sure if it's rebadged or not. I know Laguna are a brand in the US that is now working its way over here, but it's not inexpensive. I can't comment on the quality obviously.

    First ever project attempted

Ha. I didn't even need to be accurate with most of it. Framing and fine woodwork are a world apart. I've never cut any kind of dovetail, never even finished a project in anything. I'm really not joking when I say it's nicer than anything I've even attempted. I'd likely be just as critical as...

What are the basic 'dogs' I need for my new bench? Theres alot of choice!!

Looks like a nice space and you're right it's going to get busy in there. Oh how I long for a place to work on the car. I have to make do with a gravel driveway and it's all grey. Good luck finding that bolt that just pinged out! I also feel your pain. My little girl only turned 3 in August so...

What are the basic 'dogs' I need for my new bench? Theres alot of choice!!

I bought the benchdogs fence which comes with the 2 dogs to secure it and the flagstop. I added a couple of their tall "b-dogs" at the same time but I found that I could rarely use one at the front as the tracksaw motor would catch it (when cutting say 18mm sheet), so more recently I sprung for...

Yep seen that Mike, This saw has loads of room to add extra holes, it's just not a sealed cabinet underneath. I'll see how it fares once its got a proper extractor on it and something over the top. This is either a saw for life or a saw until I give Mr @Nick Laguna UK a call and ask for a F3...

That's fantastic Mark thanks a lot. I too have no welding skills or equipment nor know anyone that does, so I might have a look and see what I can do.
