    Workbench Design

There must be other places. Sheet stuff is a pain at times. Of course if we were real woodworkers we wouldn't use it at all. Or cleats.:ROFLMAO:

    Stuff everywhere

I believe EU regulation 75092.2 stipulates that a mandatory 3 of each must be kept at all times.

    Which Wi-Fi mesh?

I'm with Eric. If you've got the string in place to do it, use some Unifi. I have 2 in the house (very spread out bungalow) and then one in the workshop. All POE but rather annoyingly they are Ubiquitis own POE standard and not...the standard. Mine all convene along with the rest of the home...

    Smart tv

I maxed out at a 65" Panasonic OLED (sold brand new but with a water damaged box for £1500 about 18 months ago) and now won't buy a new TV for the living room until this one snuffs it. OLED is wonderful and the room can't take anything larger than 65". I don't use any of the smart stuff on TVs...

Have you tried Avonply for the valchromat bill? They do deliver up to us and charges vary. It would of course have made more sense if I'd mentioned them before as they do a full cutting service for you too. Hope you're actually using purple!

    Does anyone else dislike routers?

Imagine my joy while making a zero clearance insert for my table saw on Tuesday. The DX on the little Bosch wasn't too bad for just templating from my template, but then I had to route a 15mmx15mm chunk out around the entire perimeter to sit flush. Green MDF snow everywhere. Just doing that job...

    Stuff everywhere

I threaten my father in law that if he doesn't help me sort it all out then when he dies I'm just giving it away. If he were being planeted I'd be able to power most of the midlands as he span in his grave!

    Stuff everywhere

If you want to see hoarding come to the farm. We still have tractor wheels here for tractors that left the farm over 20 years ago! Mattresses that were worn out and replaced 15 years ago! A ride on mower that broke 20 years ago and has been taking up space in a locked space that could have been...

    Stuff everywhere

Been there. Work, life, young child all make it difficult sometimes to get the time you feel you need. I like to work for hours on end on something rater than half an hour today and an hour tomorrow. But you just have to take the time you get given. Try and take the time to do it a bit at a...

DBT85s Workshop - Moved in and now time to fit it out

I'm fortunate that I only have the one pair and that that I have plenty of units to make and places I could use them indoors if needed!

The Build Begins (Workshop in Garage)

Even dealing with full sheets in my workshop is a pain in the backside and I'm already trying to work out a better way! Cutting them is easy enough its just moving them from stored position on the cart I made to the bench.

    The wonder of the domino

Mine has at last arrived from Toolfest and at £780 for the 500 Q-set and the "free" systainer of dominos (The promo they were running a couple of months ago) its £200 cheaper than Axminster want. Happy with that. I shall have a play tomorrow.

Well they are at last shipping out! Axminster got some last week and I got a message from Bunnies Bolts just now to say mine will bee here tomorrow.

    'Precision' Clamping squares.

A t-Rule. And it is indeed very useful. The cheaper nasty chinese fake ones I got are excellent so the Incra ones should be at least as good. I got the 200mm with a 0.5mm pencil (I don't have ANY mechanical pencils!) and a 400mm. It was even a UNI branded pencil and only pokes a reasonable...

    Electric vehicles

Indeed. Not only that, in the UK a 300 mile range would get me from my house in the midlands to juuuuust outside my friends house in Stirling, Scotland. Well there's little chance I'm not stopping on the way up there if even only for 20 minutes somewhere there is a charger. That same 300 mile...
