    My first proper router table

Have you considered a hole in the surface for extraction when doing non through cuts? Helps keep the head clear and cool. Got 2 weeks off at the start of March. I'll make sure to get something made up in that time.

    Electric vehicles

The motors are a little different and quite large, and the while battery prices have come down the scale still isn't there like it is with ICE cars yet. Now that the likes of VW and others are getting on board the prices will start to come down as more and more companies ramp up battery...

    Electric vehicles

The daft thing is that given how little you drive there's actually even less reason to buy one. Racking up the miles is a great way to save money on fuel and help offset that purchase cost.

    Electric vehicles

I'd imagine electric can grow faster in Europe simply because most only have sub 25 mile journeys to work. Hell. I work 120 miles from home but a 300 mile electric range would still allow me to work 4 shifts (I lodge near work) and get home just fine. The limitations in cities will be where to...

    MFT clamping and legs

I just built a beach from bita of 100x50 . Doubles as a storage for bits of wood though that might change. You can make some trigger clamps work on the mft if you remove the end jaw and bend the last 75mm or so of the steel. Though I just got 2 of the festool ratchet clamps with 20% off on ffx...

    Homemade cyclone extractor.

@Dr Al nice build, sensible get away from a square box and go with the octagon as it maintains the vortex better!

    Securing your workshop

I've wondered about a loud as hell horn that simply operates on the door opening. Needs to be unlocked with a beeper like your car before you open the door. Deafen the *****.

    Securing your workshop

Cameras in addition everything else, however, do add to the deterrent and might give you a chance of identifying the little ****. They also give you the opportunity to set alerts up so that maybe you catch someone doing a recce. A camera alone is indeed not much use.

This puts the Virus into the shadows

Hey I'll not even be 50! Hybrids will be gone because its being legislated against. Nothing with an ICE by 2035, earlier in some countries.

    Draft proofing doors

I have foam strip betwixt door and frame, and have a garage seal thing to put along bottom, though I just have double doors, not an actual garage door. It shouldn't be too hard to actually eliminate the draught rather than just mitigate it with a curtain.

This puts the Virus into the shadows

Battery tech will evolve especially as more are working on it now that they want to offer the best range and charging speeds. New Hybrids won't be around after the mid 35s.

Spiky walls seem appropriate. Barbs. Poisoned tips.

This puts the Virus into the shadows

I was under the impression that Fukushima survived the earthquake that was an order of magnitude higher than designed for, but the tidal wave swept away the diesel tanks which were above ground, so the generators couldn't run the pumps for cooling?

    Securing your workshop

Sorry to hear that. Utter scum. Some kind of camera that's visible, a light that illuminates the doors on a PIR, noisy as hell alarm, locks that can't just be cut through with a silent tool like bolt cutters.

This puts the Virus into the shadows

Am I the only one that quite likes seeing a mass of turbines as I drive through Wales? Oh come now. The problem isn't getting it started. It's just keeping it going :ROFLMAO:

So... They want to build another tokamak. Is that all?

You know when you spot something on ebay, listed wrongly and think you're on to a winner.

Possibly with a snipe service that only puts the bid in with a few seconds to go anyway. If I ever see anything I want I won;t bother bidding on it at all until the last 2 minutes at the earliest. People get involved and bid more than they originally wanted, meaning you end up having to pay...

    Increasing cost & shortages

If its gpus you're after then blame the stupidity that is bitcoin for the scarcity and price. It's been insane for years. Most of my stuff comes from ocuk. Can't remember the last time I used scan or aria.

    My first proper router table

I need to sort something out. Can I ask though why you didn't make the top of the router table level with the bench it's next to?
