I don't think they would believe it nowadays?

I'm sure many that say this are the same people that say things like "oh you can't say anything these days". People can and do say the same bigoted crap they said 70 years ago. There are now just consequences to hurling racial epithets at minorities where even 25 years ago I'd regularly hear...

    Airless paint sprayers

It comes with 2 and a charger, and you could easily just use an adapter. Tool isn't available without batteries unfortunately. Well, unless you buy the corded one!

I don't think they would believe it nowadays?

That may be the case in some instances, but we still had no right to just take them. The common idea is that we were somehow saving these cultures from themselves, cultures that had been doing just fine before we rocked up and told them that actually we owned their country now. Chop chop and...

    Airless paint sprayers

As well as Mr Millard have a watch of Cam Decorations or London Craftsman on you YouTube for lots of airless vids as well as cabinetry on the latter. The small handheld like the graco ultra are only designed for smaller jobs. They'll paint a whole room but if you want to do the whole house...

I don't think they would believe it nowadays?

Even if that were true its still no excuse for not giving it back in the year of our blessed jeebus 2021, which is the prevailing mood.

DBT85s Workshop - Moved in and now time to fit it out

Got this mostly drawn up last night for the same people that wanted the bed. They want this in birch ply and unpainted. I've used 18 and 24 for this drawing (24 for book shelves and the worktop). Might need to enlarge the gap at either end for a filler as only left 20mm on this. Wanted to...

I don't think they would believe it nowadays?

That certainly seems to be the prevailing excuse. Heaven forfend that we let cultures that existed for several thousand years look after their own stuff. We had no right to it then and we have no right or excuse to it now. Take laser scans of it all to recreate it and send the originals home...

I don't think they would believe it nowadays?

We could start by giving back all the stuff we nicked over the centuries.

Ahh OK. Just make it as 2 smaller units cunningly seperated by the stud distance so that you can joint them later :ROFLMAO:

Varnished kitchen worktop in lousy condition - which sander please?

Probably late to this part I did our 11 ish meters of oak top in osmo 3032 5 years ago and I've not touched them since. Have since used it on 2 bits of oak in bathrooms and 2 bits in my utility. Great stuff though it pongs a bit when you apply it thought probably less than lots of other stuff...

Thanks. Prices don't seem too painful. Though in 2021 I can't believe they don't have the ability to order online with the more popular stuff.

DBT85s Workshop - Moved in and now time to fit it out

Ahh, I'm guessing that despite an existing building already being there, that doesn't give you the freedom to just knock it down and rebuild it without needing building regs?

    How tall is too tall?

Never can be sure tbh. Some seem to get inordinately upset at people using mdf. Or ever watching successful professionals on YouTube and employing their methods for personal use or even worse paid work.

Not sure if joking or actually upset

Christ man what are you building, boats? But yeah, That's kind of what I Imagined you meant. Maybe not on that scale! They are big enough you could easily do something to partition one for wood storage and finishing if you wanted to.
