Recently bought a new laptop—‘Chrombook’. Our old laptop which was on a Windows 10 system packed up hence new laptop. Our existing scanner is not compatible with ‘Chrombook’. My question is: Can anybody who uses ’Chromebook’ recommend a scanner that is compatible? My use is for home use only.

Drill bit advice on drilling metal. I occasionally will drill a hole in metal--anything--say from 1/8" plate to perhaps 1/2" solid bar. Sometimes brass to solid steel. There is as you know various metal bits to choose from. What coating drill bit would you use? Your knowledge welcome.

pe2dave. Yes--thought about that. But being a 'reinforced nylon' shaft and not a wooden shaft could you put in a wedge?

Slight problem with my wood cutting axe. Been working well for awhile. The problem now is the axe head and sleeve keep slipping down the handle. Bare in mind the handle is made of reinforced nylon and not a traditional wooden handle. Your thoughts?
