    Adze.......absolutly brilliant tool. I remember giving a hand making a Mast for a sailing boat. There was 4 of us with Adze's working down the length of the mast, following each other. It is amazing how much material you can remove very quickly

    Hiya Tom, Depending on what you want to turn, I use a 2-3mm wide parting tool alot. Its very good if you want to do a lidded box, the small cut helps to keep the grain running tight between the top and bottom. Cheers David

    I hope no offence was taken, its very hard to convey freindly banter in written words. All three boxes are stunning but the photo of the rings next to the purplehart box really makes the rings stand out, though I would be pleased if any of the boxes were presented to me for the special day. =D>...

    All three are really nice. Are the rings the ones to go in the box? If so the contrast of the purpleheart box seams to make the rings stand out and sparkle. Though that might just be the flash :lol:

    The ring boxes look fantastic. That Flocking stuff looks the business, I've never heard of it before and will definitly be giving it a go. Cheers for sharing.
