Sold Cordless circular saw in as new condition & 3 new blades

As new condition - I bought this to do one job where I couldn't use my corded circular saw. OK, it's a Ferrex from ALDI - but is remarkably good for what it is. It's lightweight and easy to use, suprisingly powerful, adjustable depth and mitre angles. Complete with battery and charger and...

Katsu router and different cutter sizes

Excellent - just added that to my Amazon basket waiting for another item to get me over the £20 free delivery threshold. On the 6 vs 1/4" point - agree, but the 6mm cutters were free and have a couple of profiles/sizes I don't have in 1/4" - and they're a different paint colour so easy to spot.

Katsu router and different cutter sizes

Ah, that's useful to know - I also have a random 8mm shank that was deliverd to me by mistake that I never expected to use. Do you recall where you bought the collets please?

Katsu router and different cutter sizes

I have a Katsu trim router (the Makita rip-off) - excellent little tool - takes 1/4" cutters. I have been given about 5 cutters which turn out to be 6mm shank (i.e. about 0.3mm smaller than 1/4") which obviously don't fit the router. Anyone with experience of different collets for the Katsu...

Recommend a photo gallery for motorola

I've got this on a G10 and a Lenovo tablet - Simple Gallery Pro: Video & Photo Manager & Editor - Apps on Google Play - works fine and isn't intrusive with "you must do this" stuff that Google Photos does

Old tools salvaged from my Grandparent's houses

Don't bin the stuff you don't want - there is a market for old tools, it may be low-ish value but it keeps them from landfill and gives someone pleasure (I too have some tools from my grandfather and father that are in use almost every day)

A garden project for my better half.

I'd have tried out the good lady on walls of "ultra-trendy OSB" :) - still the matchboard will look good, angled could be interesting?

Looks fantastic - what's the plan for lining in the inside walls?

    Screwfix customer service

MM? - really, I find them incredibly expensive for their own-brand Clarke/rebadged items available for much less elsewhere

.... and nearly all the screws they sold (and little else) were steel slotted head.

    Screwfix customer service

Argos & IKEA have both stopped their mammoth printing orders for catalogues . . . Toolstation has just issued a new one - I wonder if that will continue. On the subject of catalogues - who remembers the little pocket-size catalogues that Wickes distributed in vast quantities by Royal Mail...

    Screwfix customer service

Ditto The manager at the local branch told me that they're pushing the Screwfix App very hard as in September they are moving to totally online ordering (but still click and collect or direct delivery) - that said he did admit that they would still take over the counter orders, but discourage...

Drill and impact driver combo kit recommendations

I've bought an Einhell set a few weeks ago (two 4.0 batteries) - so far so good and the battery platform works for my angle grinder and circular saw (165mm) of the same brand.

    Removing 1mm?

.... and buy a plywood not MDF top - loads on ebay

A garden project for my better half.

For the downpipes on the guttering consider the "length of chain" idea . . . . you can use cheap black plastic chain with fairly large links. Looks good and not too obvious. Google "rainwater chain" for some pix

At what point are nearly all emails just spam..

As suggested up-thread - multiple email addresses work for me - I have my own domain name : <word>.co.uk and the mail system is set with a "catch-all" to forward all mail to my "real" email address (that's a BT Business account) So - when I need to give an email address I can give the real...

Wooden trays in the fridge - trying to get organised

Indeed I am - although at one point I did contemplate changing one 40 year old woman for two 20s 🤔
