Taking your second paragraph about bidding - I only bid on ebay using Auction Sniper - I set the max bid and the system fires of my bid 3 seconds before the auction ends - that way you're not exposing your max to other bidders that may creep up until they pass yours . . . . the service costs...
I'm not 100% certain but I think ebay has changed the tems of payment fairly recently to force payment via ebay not PayPal? - that may be just for "Buy it now" deals which require immediate payment . . . it's worth looking at the terms to check.
However, my own view would be to keep...
You haven't said how you paid? - most ebay transactions are now managed by ebay themselves now that PayPal is a separate business. [ALWAYS pay via ebay rather PayPal or any other method]
As suggested above I would first ask the seller to cancel and refund the order as "not what was offered"...
I have a "right angle" attachment that fits my usual drills for the times I need a tight access (admittedly not often) - it works fine once you get the hang of using it (I think it was about £7 from Amazon) . I considered the Lidl gadget but it's a bare unit and you need to buy battery and...
Have a look at Durapost composite gravel boards - I've just done our sideway with the steel posts to make a low retaining wall 2 boards high (30cm) - pretty sure the boards would fit into eisiting slotted concrete posts. The boards I bought were cheaper than concrete ones
Glued all the edges when making the box (there are 15 x 15mm timber fillets along each joint) - and then silicone/caulk on the inside. The lid is a board with a frame of 15 x 15mm battens around to be a snug fit to the open top of the box - a couple of rows of rubber draught excluder all...
I was surprised at the power of the Henry to collapse the plastic drum I used with the cyclone to start with - hence making a rigid wooden box to collect the dust with some left-over OSB.
Tip: If you use a Henry then buy another hose for it - the original hose on mine connects to the cyclone -...
. . . I sold my (small) table saw in favour of the track saw with a dust hose (and the big old circular saw for big sheet material cutting on the floor)
Ditto with the switching - I usually just reach up and press the buttons!
I should have said my piped dust extraction runs through a cheap cyclone that's fitted on the top of a sealed wooden box to catch the sawdust/chippings (lid has draught excleuder to seal and toggle clips to close)
(The...
I've certainly found the Record Power AC400 2 Stage Air Filter with Remote 3 Speeds and Time Delay fixed to the ceiling in my workshop catches a lot of the dust in the air - just looking a few moments ago Amazon has them for about £165 - other prices are in the £225 mark .... I bought mine from...
Trend has two versions - one, more expensive, is adjustable for varying materials - I have the cheap, basic one! - although I do have an adjustable Kreg too.
Ah - should have made it clearer - the default for the jig is for 18mm or slightly thicker material - the spacers I use are to get down to thinner (min 12mm) material, not to use thicker boards
There are two Von Haus nail guns - the one in your picture is not the same as the Aldi model - this is Von Haus model that is the same Cordless Nail Gun and Staple Gun - priced at £179. The cheaper VH model is not much more powerful than office stapler - and takes much smaller nails/staples...
Very neat - the shoe rack I made is altogether more rustic being made from pallet wood using a nail gun! (It is by the back door so not quite so visible)
