    Draper cordless, whats your opinion

.... or Einhell . . . I swapped out various corded stuff for this brand 8 or 9 months ago and so far very good - even a garden blower running off the same battery platform

    Bahco square

    That is correct.

Woodworking & craft shows and events…

The ticket price does seem to have jumped from last year . . . as for parking: park at Berkswell Station and take the train to Bimrmingham Intermational - takes 7 minutes and costs £2.70 return - and an easy walk (covered) to the show. Trains every 30mins

    Painting old beams white

Zinsser make blocking paint products for all sorts of applications - if you have a branch of Brewers near you, ask them.

Screw storage... if you know what I mean.

Stanley organiser boxes for me - just need to shoparound as prices vary widely - someone gave me 2 as a birthday present and I've added to them . . .making a rack in the workshop for the 7 I have now. The partitions are adjustable and can be arranged to take full boxes of screws (labelled, of...

    Scotch Brite Grey

See Woodleys Finishing Pad - Wood Finishes Direct - in 3 different grades - I've used them and the results are superb - they look and feel like the green Scotchbrite pads but with softer abrasives.

    Bahco square

+1 recommendation - I have two different sizes of the square

    Osb vs plywood

Ah - I have a cash account too . . . the local branch in SuA stocks very little timber and is distinctly uninterested in getting anything they don't stock in . . . and they seem to run "casino pricing" that has no consistency from day to day. Locally Jewsons has more timber, and cutting, but...

    Osb vs plywood

Out of interest which merchant was that please? (I'm in Warwickshire and not seeing prices like that!)

    Moving granite worktop

We had granite worktops replaced - the supplier had a couple of long-ish lengths of alumiium channel that they fitted to the edges across the sink cutout to be able to move the slab - it came on the truck in a vertical stillage and they carried it vertically before lowering flat to the top of...

    Screwfix screw pricing

Have to say I've not bought any trade packs for ages . . . too many sizes I don't use . . . just buy sizes I want, and I'll be swapping to the new Torx variety as and when I buy any more. All my screws are decanted into a couple of Stanley organiser cases.

    Painting kitchen cupboards and doors

I would advise against self-painted kitchen cabinetry - the slightest knock and you have chips and dents there for ever - stick to a "real wood" finish - it makes any knocks less obvious.

Using an impact Driver for Screwing?

:) . . . I did use the larger of my Yankee screwdrivers today - I had to reach quite a way into a small space and a power tool wouldn't fit. Old style grey steel pozi screw to remove, must have been there for years!

Single skin brick garage workshop build

. . . it could be with steels . . . but the issue isn't really relevant to the OP. Oh, and I'd clad the inside with OSB rather than plywood . . . probably cheaper, and to me a more pleasing appearance.

What have I done wrong? Carcass not square

Binge watching quite a few of @petermillard YT videos on making cabinets (there's a recent "basic boxes" one) would be helpful for you.

Using an impact Driver for Screwing?

Yep - I use an impact all the time. ProperDIY on YT did a video on exactly this a day or so ago

What have I done wrong? Carcass not square

Are the boards cut with good square edges? Using pocket hole joinery is best achieved using corner clamps when assembling - this YT film published today has the sort of clamps I use (buy from Banggood in China - - - shop around for prices) Are you using proper pocket hole screws with a pan...

    Plywood sheets

The @petermillard style "faux Shaker doors" made from MDF would probably be a much cheaper option, and arguably a better paint finish.

Woodworking & craft shows and events…

Details are a bit scant on the website - any idea on trade suppliers, demonstration programme etc, etc ?

    Keeping the heat in

The answer is a wooden cover as in Victorian times - board with a hole for head - kept the heat in and preserved your modesty if receiving guests at your bath!
