What size for dust extract flexible hose ?

"Swept" 90° bends offer less resistance than shorter, conventional.ones.

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

No, but they were appreciating even as they were published. I would distinguish between my own teenage (18y.o.) lusts and my contemporary Stewart's absolute obsession with the lady. He made night-shifts bearable with his (I swear) drooling over - and holding up for us all to see - the latest...

That's a new one for me - Glueless joint.

Bharath, I am probably talking out of my orifice, but this isn't wood welding as I understand it. 'Normal' practice is, I seem to recall, based on radio waves (UHF?) to melt the cellular structures in two adjoining faces? It was so esoteric - and costly - I never saw the need to investigate...

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

Just to cheapen things, I have profound memories of Stephanie Marrian...I blame Mikebart for returning me to 1974 or so. I had a colleague obsessed with her, but we were just teenagers ..

Went for an NHS colonoscopy yesterday..

You didn't miss anything. Trust me.

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

I agree to a limited extent Jacob.; don't read the Guardian enough, fair point. I'd make the subtle distinction between Corbyn and Corbynite: the man vs his policies or political leanings. I agree with you, P.T. et al did indeed lead the charge against the man, but I suspect some of his ideas...

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

The Bellylaugh is SO right-wing, Tory-centric and well-nigh Trumpian in places, so it's out. The Grauniad is so intent on getting its Corbynite agenda laced through each article, it sort of gets boring quickly...though I do like John Craces's turn of phraseand juxtapositions when he's getting...

    Canabis farms

Yes, superficially, that is quite possible. It all depends on your definition of "no side effects"; according to my research, refined over four decades contact with drug enforcement, Social Services and reading scientific papers, "no effects" may also be read as "no immediately visible effects"...

    Canabis farms

Triton, I have eaten bacon for 67 years. That does not make me a pig farmer.

    Canabis farms

Triton, untrue. Cannabis is writ small by many who have not become fully conversant with - particularly - its long-term or character-changing aspects. May I most respectfully ask you to do some more research? I can, I think, see your point in that acid, meth, etc etc are immediate and more...

    Canabis farms

Cobbs, I may have misread or misunderstood your original post, if so apologies , as from the quoted post directly above, we may actually have more in common than I thought. Gathering the accumumulated opinions above, I take your point re alcohol; tobacco (which the industry knew for decades was...

    Canabis farms

I rubbed shoulders with both policemen and the judiciary off-and-on for 37 years. The judiciary have increasingly been keen over that time to give rehabilitation a go instead of incarceration, otherwise the pathetic contemporary provision of prisons fills up quicker than we can keep up with...

    Canabis farms

Cobbs, its time you volunteered as a porter in A.&E. on a Saturday night 'graveyard shift in a big conurbation. You'd then see the damage drugs cause. Legalising all that trauma and heartbreak?? Come back to me after your first dozen shifts and tell me how you feel 'now'. "Quality control" what...

    Canabis farms

You two gentlemen are SO uninformed. Jacob, I suspect you are up to your incendiary tricks again. Slap your own wrists; save me the trouble. I first worked with analyses of cannabis back in 1979 and I regularly had to revise and update my knowledge of the variants ("skunk" et al) as the years...

A little light weeding for 2024

Snowdrops out about a week here in Northern Northumberland, no sign of daff blooms, but emergent leaf tips visible.

Another mystery tool, maybe not so mysterious!

That looks suspiciously like an old tent peg, suitably bent and handled!!
