    Which type of screw?

    there are two types of drywall screws....... one for wood and the other for metal studding....with the metal ones no pilot hole needed... but remember the steel studding is anything from .3-.5mm thick..... they wont go into angle iron without snaping..... even roofing screws need acorrect size...

    cheap as chips white wine vinegar does it for our 4 toilets...... we push a mop down the loo to get rid of most of the water then just refill the pan with the vinegar......€3 x 5 lts..... leave over night, job done....... even used it to clean the st/steel heating coils in the solar water...

    even look on here at the for sale section..u just may get lucky..... I def go 1/2 as the weight will help build the confidence...... Face book and eBay are good to buy locally..... used is ok if ur just starting out but the cost will soon climb, then u'll want a table with a dedicated machine...

    if u have a pillar drill they are so easy n cheap to make......esp a bench mounted one.... u really dont need a welder........apart from the jack which is about £30 from ebay, new....all the metal could come from a scrap yard for just a few quid... mine's a bit special, as I need to get a 6...

    this will give a few ideas slate roof ridge ventilation...google is ur friend....... u wont have to spend a lot..... personally I'd aim for a ridge vent hole every meter or so......no worries at the bottom near the gutter..... Spectrics vertical battens are the way to go....... u can never have...

    great idea.......buy a paint store cupboard bigger than u think u'll need....then u can keep oils n grease in there as well........ u'll soon fill it with kinds of paints etc.... as for the battery's even if in a steel cupboard it will prob still take out the shed if it one went up..... good...

    Template sanding bumps

    u can get good results from hand sanding with a shaped block.....it doesn't take long if u cut close to the line..... doing it the above way is too easy for a dig in..... unless u have miles to do it's quite theraputic to sand curves......BUT def not on flat pieces......lol......

    sounds and looks great to me........ not keen on the angle iron type brackets tho....they tend to work loose...... prefer the type with nuts in a hole........ good idea is to look in showrooms and see what fittings looks strong enough..... I think there are some self locking sort now that works...

    Hitachi is also a good make.......had mine working for years...... have a 3hp unit perm in the r/table plus another 3hp hand held....... have at least 6 small ones, 1/4 / 6mm sized trim routers, my go to machine is a Makita.... the others are Bosch, dewalt etc.....they will all get sold off...

    not quite wood working but look at cutting edge machine in Ozz....via u tuube he has invested heavily in Chinese metal lathes etc....... I'm sure his working needs are on par with industrial wood working machines...... I guess being nearer to china is an added benifit..... need to check but 1 of...

    Anyone tried the "labour saving arm" clamps?

    dont waste ur money....... they, well the bigger ones are Ok for help in fitting plaster boards to ceilings when ur on ur own...... but those wobbly things will be a pain....... as for cupboard fitting, I either use a temp support attacheted to the wall or use a knocked up box and wedges...

    Quiet extractor ? doe's one exist .

    Blister If I want vacuuming done on a reg basis I do it.........hahaha.... helps with the brownie points......hahaha...... plus I tend to go the extra mile in the kitchen and laundry room when she's out shopping..... makes a nice suprise for her and helps with my ocd oround the house.....
