I think if u want accuracy u'll need one with two support bearings on the main shaft.... but limits the woods width going thru it.... a single sider wont give u that acc properly....but close enough....!!!!!! u decide

Sikkens make several products that work well.....not cheap tho.... I use it on all outside furniture and hard wood windows...... when refinish time comes around I just scrub a bit with green Scotchbrite and paint it again.... the stuff soaks in with no probs and gives a good finish for at least...

Jet make one....prob find one from AXminster.... have a look on utube plenty of decent home made ones.... I'd look on eBay for u but it's not working for me at the mo.....

Orraloon thanks for the link.... BUT is there anything ur way to hollow v/large bowl blanks.....other than the two US models.... I'm talking tree roots and large bits of wood around the 1 ton mark..... seems a shame to hollow out a large bowl for most it to all go to shavings and dust..... been...

Mr scruntfudle I was very lucky to find this mill....it is a Myford VNF or VMF..... one of the last bought in from Taiwhan to sell as Myford..... u will see it's on a box stand but def removeable for floor mounting..... Mines 3 phase but thats no problem these days.....prob 240v as well...
