    if they are a tight'ish fit I guess u wont need glue... worth a try.....it's no great prob to glue em after the trial run..... Perhaps roll around under the already fitted tyres something like a lollipop stick, use the loctite and activator in the gaps.... the glue will be microns thick so wont...

    my Dualit toaster x 4 slice that can be switched from 4-2.....it's now over 20 years old and has just 1 replacement element changed..... 1 slice is not enough for me really n if it was I'd use the other slot and give the dog a treat.... or just get a PV system and stuff em...... here we unplug...

    I'd be using solid carbide BUT dont think the average pillar drill will have the stamina to do it..... belt slip is the least of ur worries.... plus the biggest prob with carbide is it needd to be used in a very stable chuck/shaft assembly..... Never seen a pillar drill without the shakes...

    Fixing into birch ply edge

    when screwing into man made board end grain, I pre-drill the screw holes and use screws 1/2 as long again..... never had one pull out.....OK if u have the depth..... oh, plus a spot of glue.... I use this form of fixing on all my quick fix together workshop cupboards....nothing pretty but...
