    The point of the post was "Things that bug you" my bug is people assuming instead of going a little bit further and getting that information that will help them. We all know we should not have to do it but we do need to keep our eyes open so we don't get caught out.

    It does say on the listing the seller is in Germany so everyone should be aware we have to pay ex duties to import

    No problem mate just don't like to see someone struggle, be aware them file can break very easy, love your dog by the way.

    As above I too was a former professional Autodesk / Autocad / Inventor 3D user but now I use Vectric Aspire for all design work you have to pay for it but it soon starts to pay for itself in the work you can get out, only nothing is free.

    Yes I watched it as well I guess you will always have an amateurish feel to a program as they have to be so quick skipping about filming they don't have time to do it properly. I have seen Alex in action on Salvage Hunters and he in my opinion could be good if he takes his time. what stuck out...

    I found this online gives a good idea either to make one larger or this is heavy duty if you could fix a tube to it to press it out Edit: just been thinking what about an old drill press?

    You would need to keep sharpening the pipe as soon as it cuts through the sand it will take the edge off.

    What you do is say to the wife you have a few grey's and she get some hair colourant and you keep the bottle put a 2mm brass tube in little bit of resin glue to hold it in place and there you are glue bottle/oil bottle job's a good'un.

    Anybody have any idea what species of wood this is?

    I had some a while ago it was very very hard and believed it was some kind of Mahogany but could not find out for sure but it cut well and did not need any finish not even rubbing down. (I had Adam pose for me)

    I enjoyed the Windsor chair program and the Chippendale furniture but felt a little let down why oh why do all presenters have to make a joke all the time it spoiled it for me.

    As I said before make sure the blade is clamped down not able to lift and the "cone" cuts clean through into a base board or a hole in the base board "honestly no problem" I have done it many times through harder material "thin Stainless steel"than the saw blade.

    Mark it out and put a centre pop where you want the hole and drill it should be no problem
