    I found a new glue.......

It seems to me to be bizarre that a wood glue should be in a tub. Tiling adhesive, yes, but wood glue? Given that it is in a tub I would guess that the 0.91L is actually 1kg.

    Anti-gravity router bit!

It is a pain when this happens. It is almost certainly a worn collet - they don't last forever, unfortunately. Replace the collet and I bet your problem disappears.

    I found a new glue.......

Where have you seen it, Mike? If my (admittedly very rusty indeed) French serves me correctly, "Colle Bois" simply translates as "Wood Glue", though not necessarily in that order.

Secret Santa 2019 - thanks, everyone.

Mine's finished, I need to find some suitable packaging.

    Wardrobe

I don't know where the time has gone, but the wardrobe has been on hold for a few weeks while I did another couple of projects. Nothing exciting, I'm afraid. But I'd like to get this finished before C(*&^%&^* , so I need to crack on. My veneers have been rolled up for 15 years, so they are not...

Just bought an angle poise / articulated lamp for £11.29

That is all very funny! :) I have two, a desk one which was a 21st birthday present and is still going strong, and a floor-standing one on a dolly which came out of a hospital. I bet that could tell some tales.

    The New Ferrex Bandsaw Aldi

A 1/2" blade on a tiny machine is asking a bit much, I'd say. Not necessarily impossible, but definitely at the top end of its capability. I have a huge (by comparison) Scheppach and I wouldn't put anything bigger than 3/4" on that. Stick with 1/4 or 3/8 blades if you can.

Which band saw, which dust extractor?

This may seem like heresy, but... I have a big BS and the DX on it is useless. A 4" outlet is for use with a LPHV extractor, but the outlet is so far from the action that it is very ineffective. Dust from a bandsaw blade is usually not so fine that it gets airborne so it tends to accumulate...

    Need a woodworkin' man!

Er, Mike, join the queue, please. :)

Is this the beginning of senility?

I feel my age. Usually more then my age. Life. Don't talk to me about life. Here I am, brain the size of a planet... Etc, etc, etc. I have felt uncomfortable all day. Don't know why. Until it's time to have a bath. I've had my underpants on back to front. S

    Need a woodworkin' man!

I don't think it is my place to say, Mike, but we have been in correspondence. If she wants to go public, that is for her to decide, not me.

    Need a woodworkin' man!

Unfortunately, what she is looking for is something that is not normally produced in the UK. Similar products are more usually made in China or Vietnam or somewhere similar, where the people making them can live just like everyone else they know on less than a dollar an hour. None of us here can...

    Need a woodworkin' man!

You've got to admit that the lady appears to have a bit of pizzazz. I'm rather sorry that I can't help her out! It's not my bag. :)

    Need a woodworkin' man!

No, this is a genuine request.

No, Mike, leave something for admirers to find.

Bog oak coffee table (Finished.....photo heavy).

This looks excellent Mike, I am jealous of your hand skills. No staff bead. You could create a Poll for it.

    Reducing the size of dowels

This is how I do it p4D8lW8uouw I was younger and more handsome then. But the dowels were the same :) S

    The New Ferrex Bandsaw Aldi

Hmmm. The tension mechanism consists of a nut, a bolt and a spring. Just how much wear can you inflict?
