    Tile levelling spacers

I bought some cheap screw in types off ebay. The small inverted t shaped bit slots in between the tiles, twist it 90 degrees to go under both tile edges and then do up the black collar ( by hand is fine ) It pulls them to the same height. Firstly, as said previously, there needs to be enough...

    Elm slabs valuation £?

Id be researching this reply.... if those sizes are going to be a good fit for that purpose, thats probably your best bet.... maybe throw out a few emails to windsor chair makers and see what happens. Being as they had so long to sit, they would hopefully be quite stable. Good luck, let us know...

    My bargain of the weekend.

Not a big financial gain, but i got this beauty of a framing chisel..... It was in an auction near ne with a few cold chisels and punches. It was pretty rusty, so ive cleaned it up and reground the edge etc. Chisel and punches cost £14 I also bid on a bag of 'stuff' . I saw the telltale colour...

what does the inside of this door panel look like to people?

Gypsum could, as in the plasterboard part, but the glass fibres wouldnt. I have no idea if it is asbestos or not, it would have to be tested

What did you wake up to today!

Firstly, which type of tablets? Technology or drugs? 😆 if technology, did you dunk the tablets in the tea? Im guessing it wouldnt make them softer..... As for a cuddle, i hardly ever get a cuddle! Just kids and stuff to do as soon as i get woken up 🤣😁 and i make the tea!

what does the inside of this door panel look like to people?

Also clear that theres previous damage that has been painted over, so this is probably a regular thing. Any fibres visable causes concern for asbestos, but theres also other products ( like glassroc boards ) that have fibres. The fibres do look long to me, which might indicate fibreglass...

    Does the kerf size decrease

Lets put it a different way. Look at the teeth in question and see if the teeth edges are parallel to the blade / plate. If they taper down, there will be a slight change but not enough that you'll notice in operation. If they are parallel, it'll stay the same. Either way, id just get it...

    Does the kerf size decrease

@Jameshow Flat ground teeth will be square with the blade, but alternate bevel teeth are often tapered ( but not always ) Edit: The top of the teeth will bevel down behind the cutting edge to create relief, so if it were ground down say 3mm, the overall diameter will shrink a bit and the width...

    Does the kerf size decrease

I guess it depends on the tooth geometry. If flat ground ( unlikely ) then no. if alternate bevel, it may reduce the kerf half a mm at most. If the teeth are not damaged, they wont take much off..
