The maths behind cutting these bevels?

I would be very very cautious about the acrylic bit. I might be wrong, having never tried acrylic on a tablesaw, but it sounds like disaster waiting to happen A bandsaw is the best, safest option with acrylic, but of course you'll have to sand the cut faces progressively through the grits to...

    Clever clamps

Yes we have b and q now, even got screwfix and anne summers 😆 Unfortunately the last lot of kit to wash up locally was bmw motorbikes about 12 years ago, and the police were pretty quick on the scene to protect their haul 😢

    ANPR insurance issue

Sounds like a nightmare.... and im not suprised in the slightest 🙄 I'd be the same with regards insurance policy details. Ive always thought i should photocopy them and keep a set with me but ive never got round to it yet, let alone each year it renews 😆

The maths behind cutting these bevels?

Do you have someone to supervise your tablesaw adventure? If so, just show them the pictures and they'll help. If no, use pushsticks, we hate seeing those posts with fingers missing. On the photos, it looks like they had the angles the same all round, then trimmed the back off, maybe to get it...

Bora speedhorse v toughbuilt C700 v Axminster own brand saw horses

The best horses for worktops ( for me ) are the stanley juniors. They are 32 quid a pair. I have 6! That means that you can have loads of support under both pieces when the cut finishes and undes sink cutouts etc.... and they are just under 600 wide, which is good for tight spaces.

    Strange OSB3 and fibreglass roofing

Cool. I would think hand sanding it a radom fasion would be better than a belt sander, but keying it up either way will be good. Dont over think it, it'll be fine for a bin store, just pay attention to trying to get the matting flat..... when you top coat, you dont want bubbles, so do your best...

    Strange OSB3 and fibreglass roofing

Do you have a paddle roller? Years ago i used to do fibreglassing and a paddle roller helps to flatten the matt, get rid of air bubbles and squeeze out excess resin...

Workshop Break and enter and steal

Unfortunately a smackhead probably won't feel much pain and you'll have to be fast on your feet to win a scrap with those types.... they are often getting into scrapes, so they'll be quicker than your average civvy 🤷‍♂️ a customer of mine was a prison warden and he said the inmates are much...

Workshop Break and enter and steal

Sorry to hear of your break in... hope you get sorted quickly. You can use a baseball bat, but don't add the nails. If its a baseball bat, its sports equipment. If its got nails through it, it's purely an offensive weapon. How about fitting an external spring and locking mechanism so if anyone...

    Screwfix catalogues disappear.

I do prefer a paper catalogue and as others have commented, searching for items is often hit and miss. One thing that REALLY asnoys me us if i search for something on screwfix via firefox it urges me to use the app, but when you click the link, it opens the app and your searched items dissapear 🙄

John, does the skin come pre streched on a frame? And the neck simply attaches to the tenon sticking out?
