Oxalic acid should remove the water marks As for the wax, i believe white spirit works, or a hair drier to warm it and then wipe it off to remove the worst of it.... I'd imagine a light go with a card scraper woukd work too

Watertight is only half the issue. Cold and damp air will still potentially damage sheets / encourage warping etc.....

For future readers, i advocate a good adjustable roofing square.... you work out your pitch and set the square to suit, then, as long as your new rafters are straight, your angles are largely taken care of, just measuring and careful marking left

Ive got a job coming up shortly where I'm making a built in seating area on the back of a kitchen, with new stone worktops which will sail over the seat back slightly, giving a larger work surface etc. The space is limited, so using the under seat area as storage is going to be valuable...
