If you have the money and the desire to own a full set of tools then just buy anything you want. When starting out you don't need a full set of tools and if you go down the second hand route it could take a long time to build up even the most basic kit. In my opinion just buy the mid price tools...

If you want a table saw just buy one but you don't need one for this job, a hand held saw with a basic fence is far more suited for that sort of thing.

Sorry to pee on your fire but I think that you will find that B&Q have advertised that price but out of interest I looked and the item is not available for home delivery and even though I live near to one of the largest B&Q in the country it shows no stock and also no stock in any nearby store.
