    Fixing an Inca 205 Bandsaw

I think that i responded to your original thread about this saw. Although i can't give you an answer to the problem you now have i have had the exact same saw from new and if i can help with details just let me know. I have both the Inca and a kity 613 and it is my opinion that they are the...

    Aldi Bandsaw £80

Aldi and Lidl have some some amazing offers on some tools that are well below the price of the same items with a more recognised brand name at a much higher price offered elsewhere.

Lidl Delta Sander - anyone bought one?

In my opinion if you wanted a sander for non professional use you made a mistake by walking away.

Lidl Delta Sander - anyone bought one?

Well that is a very enlightening review we all now know that the Parkside sander from Lidl is not as well made as sanders costing many times more. Just for the record and to balance things up i can tell you that i have just finished the demolition of a 700sq foot building with 9" solid brick...

    thicknesser snipe

Personally i think that you have a plainer in the lower end of the price range and are expecting it to perform as well as the machines that cost many times more. We all need to be able to work within the capabilitys of the equipment we have.

    Kity 636

Mine is not a k5 I have the same table as you with a 627 spindle moulder 652 morticer 617 table saw and the smaller 535 plainer thicknesser. At the time i also bought many extras including sliding tables and a fair amount sm tooling and for some reason a flexible shaft attachment that i have...

    Kity 636

I am the same as you in that i purchased a similar kity machine also about 35 years ago. I have the much smaller 535 plainer that i am happy with my only regret is that i didn't buy the tool grinding attachment and that empty space on the table always reminds me that i should have. Brilliant...

    Planing, do you use pushbocks?

From what i have taken the time to read this thread is loudricous. The so called experts are using big industrial machinery and some of us are using much smaller machines in my case a Kity 535 and what is safe to do is very different.

    Kity K5 or what?

I bought mine new with the machine. I think your best bet is to speak to Scott and Sargent They do have suitable cutters listed on there site but they are not very long but they may may be able to help.

    Kity K5 or what?

Your machine is basically the same as mine except i have the smaller planer 535. It is a very capable machine and dates from the 1980's when i bought mine new. The morticer is very useful and i modified mine to also be able to use it to also produce accurate dowel joints. I have the handle for...

    Sleeve Anchor fittings

Fair play to you but i doubt your tools weigh as much as an extractor and probably don't vibrate.

    Sleeve Anchor fittings

If they are thermalite blocks don't waste your time trying fix it no matter what fixings you buy the blocks won't be strong enough to hold a heavy weight.

    Erbauer

Without doubt the Erbauer and Titan names are brand names used by screwfix and the same items could be purchased elsewhere but they have put their name to them and are prepared to back that up with good customer service. I have some Erbauer mansonary bits and a Titan concrete breaker and all...

    Zyliss or Z vice?

That is part of there attraction you can use them on any part of your bench or outside on a plank supported on a couple of treasles and put them away when you are finished.

    air sanders

Personally unless you are in an industrial environment i can't see the point in running a 3hp motor to power an air hungry sander.

    Zyliss or Z vice?

I am a big fan of the zyliss vice so much so that l have 4 of them. One i purchased new at the ideal home show one was second hand at a steam fair and the other two were off eBay. They are now longer made in Switzerland and are no longer available new in the UK. Two of mine are genuine zyliss...
