Screwfix had a drill on offer at £139.99 with 2 5ah batteries charger and case i bought it just for batteries and charger which cost more individually

I have an industrial langford sonomatic that's really good don't know what they cost mine found its way into van on a job disconnecting machines at a firm that had gone bust
The originals would have been like these admittedly neither is a record ones a parkinson and others a ward and payne but they're mote or less identical
I was thinking same, measure the distance at end of parallel bars the recessed bit and then get appropriate mild steel bar cut to length round ends drill 3 appropriate holes, washers and split pin done

They do apparently loosen deposits but are not intended to replace a proper sweep by a nacs registered sweep who will examine condition of your flue and smoke test it,I iusualy stick a couple on before sweeps due fir that purpose
