    Spax and reissener are good but a bit expensive screwfix turbo gold are pretty good probably used about 3000 during workshop build last year no complaints on my usage obviously you'd need to identify studs for maximum strength

    I use mine for dimensioning timber with good blades and it comes in real handy for firewood and logs with older blades lot safer than chop saw quicker and a lot less mess with extraction ,chop saw chucks sh#t everywhere I have a table saw too but bandsaw definitely the go too

    Side table from an unusual piece of a tree trunk I got as fire wood had to put a couple of bow ties on underside to stop checks travelling been told it looks like the shape of Australia it does a bit when I checked it out

    There is no dvd of this series afraid you'll just have to wait for a repeat on discovery, although from what I remember from when it was on it was OK but I've seen better workshops on this forum the mezzanine was a nice touch though

    The old timber is much better than what you can buy now most old joists are douglas fir and actually had time to grow love joists and old original internal doors
