    Had about 40 off cuts of 4 x 2 10 inch long. usually I would have just burnt them on wood stove. So iset myself a challenge to make something with them, here's what I came up with an octagonal planter yakisugi and oil finish

    Only ever had one plane with aluminium ones didn't like them much.replaced with some spare brass ones Plane was a J. A. Chapman by stanley no 4 not sure of era
