    That I can understand, and the Vancouver rain shadow is no fun. The price of real estate is the one great advantage of the prairies. Plenty of good wood in those old grain elevators though. ;)

    Lurem C260 planer head diameter?

    I'm away from my machine at present and just wondered if anyone knows the edge-to-edge diameter of the planer cutter head on a Lurem C.260? I'm looking at having a/some helical carbide cutter heads made for these machines by the way, if that would interest others?

    Lurem C2600 Manual in English

    I got some sort of book with my C260. Will have to see if I can put hands on it as I'm just resurrecting the machine now from a long sleep due to motor failure. I'll scan what I've got when I find it if it looks useful and post a link for download.

    I was going through this recently my self on my C.260 Lurem. The motor mount turns out to be a B5 Flange, Size 63 (115mm c to c distance on the four bolt holes). Nothing available out here that is suitable, so am considering making up what amounts to a jack-shaft with a couple of flange-mount...

    Greetings gents, and ladies, I'm from British Columbia and glad to be aboard. Not much else to say at this point I suppose, but am a wood and metal worker (home) with a taste for restorations and vintage tools and machinery in general.
