Cheers for that. I've no idea even what the part is haha! You're probably right they wont offer that much. I have to say it wouldn't bother me once the machine is still working. I'd also want to make sure any other faults that develop will be covered.

I was the same and couldn't justify the cost of it so bought this adjustable lift as seen in the photo . Works well. Can remove the springs from the router so it moves easier but I haven't found the need for it yet.

I have the Kreg k4 and find it very good. One issue a lot of them have is the clamp lever is on the opposite side to where you drill so if you are drilling into a large enough cabinet piece etc u have to reach around to clamp it in place and unless you're stretch Armstrong it's quite difficult...

I like that saying. I never really saw thought about the difference before. I guess furniture maker probably fits more into this category. I'm keen on learning all skills associated with the different. I'd like to learn the different joints. Planning on learning the box or finger joint this week.
